Summer at Prosperity Church

Summer 2013:
Let’s Take A Trip Around The World!
Nine Weeks of Fun:
June 10 - August 9

The Countryside Montessori School Summer program offers a fun-filled, nurturing environment in which to learn and play for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Come explore science, nature, history and geography. Take the Ultimate Field Trip! We also welcome new students who have made a commitment to our program by enrolling in the upcoming school year.

Click here to download the Summer Application Form.  You can also pick up a form at the Prosperity Church campus. Email janicegray@countrysidemontessorischools.org for more information.

Children’s House Sessions (ages 3-5)

Each week of Children’s House Summer Fun includes a new adventure exploring a different culture and learning all about people from across the globe. Every week we will make a flag of a new country, learn new geography, taste new foods, listen to music and learn to count to 10 in languages like German, Japanese and Italian. We will also include a fun water/splash day each week. Our outdoor covered pavilions will be turned into outdoor classrooms to enjoy fun and learning in the shade. A garden curriculum will round out our summer.

Stepping Stones Sessions (ages 2-3)
The Stepping Stones Program will be designed as a continuation of the school y ear for those children currently enrolled in the toddler program during the regular school year or as an introduction to new students. For children new to our program, we encourage a transition observation period of 2 days for the child until she/he is comfortable just like we do during the school year. The children explore and experiment with the classroom materials while developing motor skills, language abilities and socialization skills. They also enjoy singing songs, listening to stories, doing arts and crafts, and outdoor play. The teachers will implement Around the World themes as they see fit for this age group.
